Step 1: Start With a Gentle, Non-Stripping Cleanser
If your face feels “squeaky clean” after washing, your skin barrier is likely being stripped — which leads to more inflammation and more breakouts.
Your cleanser should:
Remove oil and debris
Keep your skin’s moisture barrier intact
Leave your skin feeling soft, not tight

Step 2: Add an Anti-Inflammatory Serum
Inflammation is at the core of acne — whether your breakouts are hormonal, stress-related, or from product overload.

But here’s the catch:
